I'm not spending any real money on the game but amassed enough wildlife points to get an animal, I chose to get a map instead as it would increase my visitor count.
I didnt get an animal because I was worried that if I had 1 I'd need 2 or more to complete tasks. I didnt want to get stuck waiting on wildlife points before I Could level up.
Does anyone know if These animals count in the tasks that require to own 2,3 or 4 of every animal ?

I don't know if the Wildlife Fund animals count towards the # of animals, but I do know that animals adopted from the feed do not count. I was able to pass the "2 of each animal" requirement with 1 animal each of 3 adopted species. I'm personally more concerned if Breedables count or not, since I have the "5 of each animal" coming up.

How do I adopt an animal from the feed, and what/where/how do I find the feed? I'm on level 26 and still can't see how to do this, is something broken in my zoo?

The "feed" is just the Facebook home page, your "News Feed."

ReplyDeleteThe feeds also show on players walls.
The quickest way to get these is to work with a friend and use the chat feature.
Get into chat with another player then find any post to adopt an animal. most likely you will be too late to adopt but it usually gives you the opportunity to help an animal out and post it for adoption.
Before you do that go to chat and let your friend know you are posting one. They can go to your page by clicking your name at the top of the chat window. They simply keep hitting refresh until they see your post and jump on it.
Whether they adopt or not they will get the chance to place one up for adoption. They let you know and you set on their page until you get it. Then you repost.
It may take a few tries but eventually you should both get your five for the day.
Just be carefull because the upgrades can get expensive.
I have confirmed that wildlife fund animals do not count for the "get 4 of every species" task on level 38. The game shows the task complete even though I am short on these animals.
ReplyDeleteFor your question on breedables - hopefully we will know for sure soon. I couldnt confirm because I had 3 wildhorses and one breeding so I may have had 4. Again if you wish to experiment Im willing to hold an animal or gift one you need just so we can figure this out.
Looks like they made a change to the game... Feed animals now count.... at least for the Noah's Ark task.
